7 Foot Gator trapped in Astor Farms Sanford
Gators in community ponds are something very common in Central Florida. The 7 foot gator many of us were talking about in the past weeks was trapped on May 7 in one of the ponds in Astor Farms. Below are the pictures provided by the neighbor who helped the trapper find and catch the gator. Thanks JR
While we are not sure why the gator had to be killed, we are also relived that it is gone and can’t be threat to any of us.
Remember, when you see a gator in The Preserve at Astor Farms call the Nusiance Alligator Hotline at 1-866- 392-4286. For immediate threats, like a gator in your backyard, call Jerry, with Florida Wildlife and Conservation at 321-231-1685!
