August 20, 2011
TO: Individual Homeowner Addresses
SUBJECT: PARKING ALERT/WARNING
This is to advise all residents that overnight, on-street parking is an on-going problem that the Preserve at Astor Farms Board of Directors has addressed in the past without much success. Previously, the Board has contracted with a security company to issue ‘warning stickers’ to violators. These warnings have been ignored. Therefore, the Board has now implemented a towing policy which will go into effect in 30 days. This letter will constitute the 30-day notice required by Florida Statutes and there will not be anymore warning stickers affixed to vehicles.
Vehicles and Parking is covered in the Preserve at Astor Farms Homeowners Association Rules & Regulations and in the Declaration of Covenants and Restrictions for the Preserve at Astor Farms under Article VII Special Provisions.
Effective September 20, 2011 ANY vehicle parked on the street between the hours of 1:00AM and 5:00AM will be towed.
If you have overnight guests and they need to park on the street, you may obtain a Visitor Temporary Parking Permit by accessing www.astorfarms.com , under the “Parking Permit” section on the Main Menu and providing and submitting the required information to the e-mail address listed; a 48-hour notice is required for processing.
Thank you for your cooperation in this very important matter.
Your Board of Directors
