Social Committee

We are always in need of community members who are willing to volunteer their time to help the Social Committee organize events.

We would also love to hear from you if you are interested in hosting a new interest group. Interest groups are a great way to get to know your neighbors while doing what you enjoy. We are open to new ideas and would love to welcome you to our next Social Committee Meeting. The committee meets once a month from September through May. For any questions and details, please email us at AstorFarmsHOA@gmail.com

We are also always in need of block captains!

Astor Farms Wine Club:

Please come join us! The Astor Farms Wine Club meets once a month for wine, food, fun and a little culture! Every month the theme changes. In the last few months we have sampled wines from Portugal, Argentina and even had a beer tasting in March for St Patrick’s Day! This is a great opportunity to try a variety of wines and to meet your neighbors. Monthly tastings are usually held on the third Saturday of every month at 7:00 pm. For more information please email us at AstorFarmsWineClub@yahoo.com

The next wine club will take place on Saturday June 27th at 7:30pm with the theme “Wines Enjoyed on Vacation”. Bring a great bottle of wine you had while you were on vacation or from a favorite vacation location & a side dish to go with your wine

Bunco:

Bunco, a game from the late 1800’s is resurfacing and becoming the neighborhood CRAZE.
Ideas for future groups:

  • Couples Card Games
  • Walker’s Club
  • Mom’s Prayer Group
  • Family Movie Night
  • Scrapbook Club
  • Book Club
